Thinmail can be set-up to automatically convert HTML mail into plain text, so you don't get the meta-tags. It can automatically preview the first lines of attached Word documents. If you need the whole document - even from a wireless text device, you can forward the file (or Thinmail link) to "Text@Thinmail.com" and our server will extract the entire text and send it back in an email. Alteratively you can print it to any fax machine, or have it read aloud on your phone!

Microsoft Word files have become ubiquitous, attached to email messages like flies to rotten meat. If your wireless system can't handle DOC files, it becomes useless. More and more messages are being composed in HTML, which adds lots of useless meta-tags to your messages.
